Also known as Mohs micrographic surgery, the procedure is considered the most effective for removing nonmelanoma skin cancers, with cure rates up to 99 percent.<\/p>\n

Mohs may be recommended by doctors for treating skin cancers in cosmetically challenging locations, such as the head, face and neck, as well as other areas of the body.<\/p>\n
